Hi and welcome! I’m Dr. Lexi Watson.

I founded OAKLEY Wellness around one mission: helping people who feel like they’re losing their mental edge find out why — and actually fix it.

The people I work with are smart, capable, and used to being on top of things. They were the ones other people came to with hard problems. And now they’re forgetting words mid-sentence, reading the same paragraph three times, dragging through their afternoons, and quietly wondering if this is how it starts. They’ve seen their doctor. They’ve been told their labs are normal. They’ve tried the supplements and the sleep hygiene tips. Nothing has moved the needle — and the fear in the back of their mind keeps getting louder.

I understand that fear from the inside out.

I spent years as an independent community pharmacist — building relationships with patients, optimizing their medications, doing everything pharmacy was designed to do. But I kept watching the same thing happen: people managing their conditions, not reversing them. And the conversations that broke me most were the ones about memory. About dementia. About Alzheimer’s. I filled the prescriptions. I answered every question I could. And I still felt like I was handing people a bandage when they needed something completely different.

So I changed directions. I became the 15th pharmacist in the world to earn certification through the Institute for Functional Medicine. I overhauled my own life in the process: replaced the chronic stress, the fast food, and the late nights with the practices I now teach my clients. The inflammatory bloating I’d normalized for years disappeared. I no longer needed my ADHD medication to think clearly. I had proof the approach worked.

But Alzheimer’s remained the piece I couldn’t shake. I’d watched my grandmother decline and disappear to the disease — and I knew that for my clients, that fear wasn’t abstract. It was personal, it was present, and it deserved a real answer.

That answer came through Dr. Dale Bredesen and his research team. His ReCODE Protocol demonstrated that Alzheimer’s progression could not only be halted, but in many cases reversed — using the same functional medicine tools and testing I was already using. I became certified in the protocol and launched OAKLEY Wellness the day my grandmother passed. It wasn’t a coincidence. It was a commitment.

Today, I help overwhelmed professionals and parents struggling with brain fog, memory lapses, crushing fatigue, and the fear of cognitive decline uncover the root cause of what’s happening in their brain — and do something about it. Through my OAKLEY Method, a structured approach to optimizing brain cell health from the inside out, my clients clear the fog, reclaim their energy, and get back to feeling like the sharp, present, capable version of themselves they’ve been missing.

Alzheimer’s is no longer an inevitable sentence. And “your labs are normal” is no longer an acceptable answer.
